I listened to this more for the voice samples than for the music itself, but I loved it. It communicates... a lot of meaning, and the long ambient rain segment sorta gives you good time to just think.

Who were the people in the song? Could you post references in the description?

great job, and thanks for making this lol

noice

I like the popping sound at the beginning =3 a lot lol
The beat was interesting, creative. pretty sick actually.

A bit more melody for the beat to carry would be nice though. So far you have a good bass and a beat that doesn't stays interesting. Add some melodies and/or chords to take advantage of that. It just feels unfinished atm.

That piano sounded promising, and I like what you did at 1:01

Thank you very much, sir!

I loved the classic games, nostalgia really makes things sooo much better.

Lol

The reason people zero-bomb Garage Band users is cuz it involves absolutely no effort compared to people who make their music in FL Studios or other programs, not cuz they feel like being dicks lol.

You get points for trying, but a song like this doesn't belong here when there are soooo many other songs people have made from scratch.

Hmph.

I'm with Obiod on this one.

Cuz the fact of the matter is, you didn't make this. All you did was put pre-made loops together and then yelled "oh look! I MAKEZ MOOSIX NOW". And it's a slap across the face for everyone who writes their music from scratch when a song like this makes it onto the all-time top scoring -.-.

If you want to actually CREATE your own music, to be able to place the notes yourself, to control more than you imagined you could in a song, try real music making programs. Look into FL Studios, Logic Pro, Cubase, Reason and many others and take the time to learn them. FL Studios is definitely the easiest to start with.

No one's "first try to make music!" should be on the all-time top scoring.

Dude when you don't like it, ok but for me it doesn't matter wether I take the "bad pre-mades" or my own placed Notes. gtfo

Damn man

This was INTENSE.

The robotic rant at the beginning was perfect for the buildup to that AMAZING sidechain. You had me at that sidechain, so hardcore.

My only objection is that it was a bit hard to hear the words, that isn't usually too big a deal but I'm really into the political side of this and was kinda waiting for it.

On that note, HMS is planning a documentary revolving around all this, and we'd love to use this song. I'll give you details as they come out, but would you be cool with that?

Powerful

There's a lot of emotion behind this one, that much is obvious.

I'm getting a lot of happy, inspirational vibes from the song, and you really pulled that off with the synth melodies and your pad transitions. The breakdowns were just plain amazing and I was really feeling those. Buildups I found a bit simple, but effective so no complaint there.

Haha, I'm loving that random pipe going along with the melody at 1:10. Your choice of synths was great. The off-beat bass however, even though not very noticeable, felt a bit useless and raw. That mega reverbed piano around 1:26 is something I personally wouldn't do, it just kinda sounded off and weak. On the other hand it gives this nice feeling of distance so I think that's what you were getting at.

Overall, this is really fun to listen to, really catchy too =D
Great job!

i could get that word in a review from
someone! XD.

Thanks so much!!!

Needs touching up

The composition is overall rather catchy and you had some interesting things going on, but it's time you moved away from the presets.

The main issues with this song are technical, you have massive clipping going on or something, there's this constant state of buzzing which means that things are just too loud.

If you still don't know how to master properly, just try turning things down on the mixer track and maybe add Fruity Limiter or Maximus to the master bus. You don't want to use this too excessively cuz it kinda rips off some parts of the song but it might help if you don't want to be to detailed.

If you're really determined to make things loud, add a compressor to seperate instruments on their FX tracks and that way you can make it louder without it clipping.

Nice

The song was pretty cool to listen to, it kinda felt a bit generic though in the first minute and half, nothing too original going on there.

The transition was a bit bumpy around 1:20, maybe automating a filter cutoff on a pad or something will smooth things out?

The song felt a bit raw on the mastering and mixing side, sounds pretty good anyways so no complaints there.

The song from 2:00 on is awesome, really soothing.

Overall awesome job!

m souping it up would be good, better if I had made it into a full-length, but I felt it should stick to DDR length lol
